Live-in caregivers are required to have a designated, private bedroom as well as 24/7 access to a suitable bathroom with a shower. While live-in  caregivers remain accessible for emergencies during the night,  they must be allocated 8 hours of sleep each evening. Caregivers need to be rested in order to care for your loved ones.
